These are small versions of
full screen originals. If you really like any of them and
want to see the much nicer full screen versions, send me an
e-mail and I'll send you the links to download them.
The Journey
It's an
uplifting, optimistic view of the universe. I made it for my
friend Mo in Germany because we share a common inspiration
with space. I used panning, zooming and overlapping images
that often pay homage to spirals. It's not just a sequence
of space images. It tells an unspoken story. For at least 15
years, I've had Enya's music in mind for this movie I never
thought I could make. It runs 3 minutes.
Breaking Point
is dark and
hard to define in a sentence. You probably won't like it. I
take a hard look at world history (over the last 100 years)
leading up to a "breaking point" - when grief is finally
shown through pessimistic eyes - although hope IS there.
Ultimately it does offer an age old solution - if it isn't
too late. Indifference is part of the problem. It's
all too easy to look away from what is happening. You won't
likely feel good when it's over - but that was my intent. 8
minutes long.
The Fall Ascension is my
celebration of the Fall 2005 Season. I photographed hundreds
scenes, with all natural light and shadows to end up with
the few images seen in the movie. Instead of showing fall
trees as you might expect, I decided to try a different
approach by showing things from the ground - continuously
looking upward for 4 minutes. It's very attuned to the
music. The most striking pictures where 'trees meet sky' are
saved for the end.
The Nightmare Paintings of HR Giger
- a tribute to my favorite living artist - Rated R for
horror. I spent a lot of time on the sound track mix. I
think you'll find it hypnotically disturbing...
Ever seen an atlatl? I make
